ROSWALL IS APPROVED TO PROVIDE CLEAN, RENEWABLE ENERGY FOR RETAIL CUSTOMERS

Roswall Development makes history today as the first clean, renewable energy company in Nova Scotia to be approved as a Licensed Retail Supplier (LRS) by the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board (NSUARB) through the Renewable to Retail (RTR) program.

The RTR program is part of a forward-looking plan by the Province of Nova Scotia that was created through amendments to the Electricity Act in 2015 to encourage renewable energy development. The retail supplier license will allow Roswall to provide Nova Scotians with the choice to have clean, renewable electricity supplied directly to their homes and business facilities.

Roswall is currently developing a wind energy project in Queens County, Nova Scotia, which will be the first phase of generation. Permitting is expected in 2022 and retail sales are anticipated to begin by the end of 2023.

We look forward to working with the NSUARB, Nova Scotia Power, and the Department of Natural Resources and Renewables on the development of this exciting project.
